Lana G. Dart

Born June 29, 1937 in Mason, Michigan, passed away on November 30, 2017, at the age of 80. Lana graduated from Mason High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from MSU where she was a member of the Mortar Board Honor Society. Lana was employed with MSU for 33 ½ years before retiring in 1992. She was an Elder, Deacon and a Clerk of the Session for Mason First Presbyterian Church. Lana also served as a board member of the Ingham County Fair, was a member of the Lansing Women’s Club and was a past member and officer of the Mason College Club. She will be greatly missed by all.

Lana was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Dart and brother-in-law, Gerald Baker. Surviving to cherish her memory are sisters, Eleanor Baker and Kathy (Harold) Kemler both of Webberville, MI; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mason First Presbyterian Church, 131 E. Maple St., Mason, MI 48854 with visitation one hour prior. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S.
