Marshall Benjamin Pollok

Marshall Benjamin Pollok went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2010 at the age of 90. He was born May 18, 1920 in Ingham County, MI to Arthur and Olive A. (Townsend) Pollok.

Marshall farmed for several years while his children were young. He worked at Dansville School and retired from Mason State Bank. A central part of Marshall’s life was his commitment to Jesus Christ and to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe Pollok; sister, Agnes Baker; and great-granddaughter, Kristen Mahon.

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Jean; daughter, Sue (Dan) Ware of Mason; 2 sons, James (Darlene) Pollok of Mason, and Louie (Nancy) Pollok of Lansing; brothers, Martin Pollok of Mason, David (Diane) Pollok of Virginia; sister, Elizabeth (George) Young of Stockbridge; 7 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at noon Friday, November 5, 2010, at Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Road, Mason, MI with Rev. Carroll Fowler and Pastor Gerald Garcia officiating. Interment immediately following in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mason. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
