Philip Harmon Hall, 76, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 in Mason, Michigan. Born September 16, 1941 in Mason to Chellis and Dorothy (Harmon) Hall, Philip attended MSU and applied his knowledge to a lifetime of farming in Mason, first as a dairy farmer and later as a crop farmer. He was interested in antique tractors and enjoyed driving his tractors over the Mackinaw Bridge for years. When he wasn’t farming or driving tractors, he spent time at his cottage up north and his winters in Winter Haven, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Hall, and his parents.
He will be lovingly remembered by his second wife, Diane Hall; his children, Michael Hall and Lisa (Frank) Ingalls; his stepchildren, Lorie (Dan) Neuman, Lisa (Jason) Norris, and Aaron (Kristi) Huntley; his grandchildren, Taylor and Jakob Ingalls, Chellis, Amelia, and Madeline Hall; his 8 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Joyce (John) Ickes, Joan (Bill) Porter, and Nolan (Pat) Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11am at Mason First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Ash St., Mason. Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 4pm until 8pm, and one hour prior to the services at church.
In honor of Philip, memorial contributions may be made to the church or to a charity of your choice.
