Born April 18, 1956 went unexpectedly to be with the Lord on June 9, 2011, at the age of 55. He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents and his mother Lois Jean Young. Survived by his wife Esther, of 34 years, their children Paul (Lisa) of Sault Saint Marie; Brenda and Diane of Dansville; father Wayne, of Dansville; grandson Levi; sister Linda (Chuck) Bissell of Leslie; brother Dan (Heather) of Charlotte; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. He was a friend to everyone he met and will be greatly missed as he leaves behind a legacy. Ron retired from Mason Public Schools was an engineer/firefighter for Ingham Township Fire and a deacon at Columbia Road Baptist Church. He was a family man who was passionate for leading others to Christ and loved to serve and help anyone. He enjoyed seeing the world by cruise ships, refurbishing tractors, and being outdoors on his farm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Dansville High School, 1264 Adams St., Dansville, MI 48819, with Pastor John P. Hayden officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2011 from 4-8:00 pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Columbia Road Baptist Church, 5000 W. Columbia, Mason, MI 48854.
