Age 55 passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011. He was born on June 23, 1956 in Battle Creek to Dale and Virginia (McDermid) Cooley. Warren was the store manager of CarQuest Auto Parts in Eaton Rapids for the last 9 years and also assisted the stores in Holt, Mason and Stockbridge. He was a lifetime member of SPAMFAA, Great Lakes Chapter GLIFAA charter member and President of Mid-Michigan AFAA. Warren was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mason, where he was in the choir. He also helped a local Vietnamese Association. Warren was preceded in death by his father, Dale. Surviving are: his mother, Virginia and 2 sisters, Liz (Tom) Luttrell-Wilson and Susan (Kenny) Knighton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason with the Rev. Dwayne Bagley of First United Methodist of Mason officiating. Interment will be in Hicks Cemetery in Pennfield Township at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Melanie Baker officiating. The family will receive friends at from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
