William D. "Tire Bill" Christman

William “Tire Bill” D. Christman, 69, of Mason, MI died Friday, September 10, 2010. He was born February 27, 1941, in Paulding OH. He was the son of the late Edward and Helen M. Christman. He served his country as a Marine, worked construction for over 20 years, and was the owner-operator of J & B Tire Service in Mason for 18 years. Bill loved his family, sports, and a good joke. Bill was a member of the Mason First Church of the Nazarene and was heavily involved in their Recreational Outreach Center. He was very generous and would do anything for anybody.

Surviving are his wife Jeanine (JC) Christman of 26 years; children, Ranae Christman (Deb Alfaro), Jenny Post (Marty Levernier), Michael Christman, Steven Christman; 6 grandchildren’ and one great-grandchild; siblings, Delores Brooks, Marilyn Pullen (Charlie), Ruth Grepp, Lois Helbert (George), Carol Degraff, and Ken Christman (Sharon).

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Mason First Church of the Nazarene, 415 E. Maple, Mason, MI 48854 with the Rev. Mark D. Rigg and Pastor Gerhard Weigelt officiating. Interment immediately following in Leek Cemetery, Mason, MI.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI.
