William R. Eastman

William R. Eastman, age 76, died May 8, 2011. He was born April 12, 1935, in Lansing, MI to William H. and Esther M. (Starke) Eastman. Mr. Eastman honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired from Sparrow Hospital after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Eastman; and sister, Dixie Burns. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Helen (Watkins) Eastman; 3 daughters, Hope Miller (Scott), Teresa Brown (Steve), Glenda Weiss (Dallas); 3 sons, Brian Eastman (Sally), Glen Noble (Liz), Rusty Peffers (Kathy); 12 grandchildren; 11 ½ great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball-Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI 48854 with Dr. Glen Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Leek Cemetery, Alaiedon Township. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
