

ANNA MARIE TAMBURRO, born in Cleveland, Ohio. Loving daughter of the late Emilio and Guiseppina Tamburro. Devoted sister of Antonetta Palazzo (Tony) and Amilia Pickerill ( Robert). Dearest Aunt of Christina, Joseph, James, John, and Josephine. Following the early death of her father, Anna sacrificed her dream of becoming a teacher in order to help support her mother and sisters. She was a lifelong, dedicated postal worker who cared deeply for her customers in the Hamilton House, Luther House, Schnurman House and surrounding areas. She was a recipient of the National Safety Council One Million Mile Club for attaining 30 years of safe driving without an incident. She was an extremely compassionate friend, neighbor, and coworker and was known for always making an effort to help those in need. She was an avid ballroom dancer in her younger years and traveled to national competitions. She treasured her nieces and nephews who affectionately called her Zia. Zia was Santa Claus and Easter Bunny all in one and loved to spoil her nieces and nephews. Anna joins her beloved parents in heaven but will be sorely missed by her family and many others. Her legacy of kindness and love will not be forgotten. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Saturday July 23 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Entombment All Souls Cemetery.
