I just learned of Brad's passing. We've worked together through a partnership between our companies. He was a really nice guy and great to get along with. My condolences goes out to his family.

Brad, I will always be grateful that our paths crossed. Not only did you help me out during some really hard times by bringing me on board at Platform.sh, but you were also incredibly kind to me, showing the patience to mentor me and teach me so many things I didn’t know.

What a legend!

I will remember Brad as being a collaborative colleague, easy-going during our work trip, and being chatty about Iceland, cats and Eve online.

My sincerest condolences for the loss of Brad, who was a fantastic man and gentle manager of others. I greatly appreciated working with Brad and getting to know him.

I am sorry to hear of Brad's passing, he was my supervisor when we worked together at platform.sh and I enjoyed our 1:1 conversations talking about Iceland and Eve Online. My condolences to you all in your time of bereavement, and I hope you take comfort in your memories of him. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of your handsome, delightful son. I never had the privilege of meeting him, but I can tell through his online presence and form your stories that he was fun-loving, brilliant, and beloved. The world is a better place for his having lived in it.

This is a photo of yacht trip me and brad went on right after I got my first programming job. I will never forget how proud he was of me. He changed my life and I will never forget him.

Brad has touched the lives of everyone who's worked at Platform.sh since he joined, including the people who will never get the chance to meet or work with him. He was fun to be around outside of working hours, but also great to work with, because his competence and dependability made life easier for everyone around him. I'm thankful to have known him, very sad he's gone, and I just want his family and friends to know that we're all missing him as well.

I met Brad for the first time in Cleveland after playing Eve Online for 10+ years without ever attending a Goonmeet. I should have gone sooner as we instantly clicked. The next time I saw him in person, I was sleeping on his couch in his hotel in Vegas. That is the type of person Brad was. I asked him if he wanted any money, he only said "pay it forward".  I miss you my friend, and I will cherish the last time I was able to see you.

I didn't know Brad(Innominate/Nom/Nom Nom!) very well, I've only spoken to him a few times via chat, however being a member of the same group in Eve Online (KarmaFleet and Goonswarm Federation) I've had an opportunity to get to know him well by reputation. In the past days, weeks and months I've heard much about Brad and the effect he's had on the lives of so many. About how he was always available to lend an ear, and would listen to you intently no matter who you were, and was always willing to give you a chance. He was always there for you, no matter what.

I've heard more than I can recount, dozens and dozens of people both friend and foe coming together to speak about Brad and describe the ways in which their lives had been affected by him. If there's one thing I can say with certainty, Brad has touched the lives of a great many, and through his actions, directly or indirectly, he has had a great, profound and lasting impact on the people who knew him. His friends, his acquaintances, his enemies, people who never knew or met him and through his six terms as a member of the Council of Stellar Management (CSM, working with the game developers directly) even Eve Online itself. In a way Brad has become immortalized, because his presence will forever be felt within the fabric of the game and how it's played, and his story told by those who play it. 

I hope you find some amount of solace in knowing that Brad is in the thoughts, hearts and prayers of the great unwashed (Eve Online players)

I had the opportunity to meet Brad a few times in person and had a lot of interactions with him online as part of Goonswarm. He was an intelligent, genuine and kind guy. We’re all better for having known him. I’m so very sorry for his passing. My condolences to his family. He was truly a great person.

This was the first night my wife and I met Brad in person after playing internet spaceships together for over a decade.  It is such a fond memory, and he was such an amazing and special man.  My father used to always say the highest compliment a man could be paid was to be remembered as a good man.  Nom Noms was more than that--he was a great man.  He will be missed by thousands of capsuleers for a very long time to come.  I hope his family can find comfort and peace.  May he have eternal rest.

Words aren’t enough to express how sorry I am for the loss of BL .He was a  wonderful son,brother and Uncle.He will be greatly missed.

It was always a fun time with BL. The world was better because he was in it and our family will never be the same without him.

When BL  was 3 he was asking his mom (my aunt) to let his dad get a PC. That was probably the last thing I understood when he talked about computers. I’ve always been in awe by his amazing intelligence. Even though our visits were not exceptionally frequent,  I always of enjoyed hanging  with him in Florida and Cleveland no matter what we did. He was so loved and will be so missed. My heart goes out to Karen, Brad, Liz, Jeremy and all the family and friends who adored him.

I spent many years and late nights chatting with Brad about Linux, planes, music, and other random topics. His passion and curiosity were infectious; I will forever cherish those memories. I will miss our talks, but most of all, I will miss being around Brad. He never knew a stranger; even when I first met him in Vegas, he was already buying drinks and spreading cheer. Brad had an inviting aura that I will never forget. Brad will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Spent countless hours with Brad over the years, playing games, drinking beer, chatting about history, or airplanes, or Linux, or just about anything.  Can’t believe he’s gone and at such a young age. Going to miss all our time and travel together. Godspeed, broski - we will never forget you.

Brad was amazing, and a friend to countless people. The pain of his passing is enormous. My love and support go to his family and all of his friends. Love you man. Thank you for the good times, the laughs, the drinks and the memories. I only hope to see you again some day.
