My thoughts are with all those who are affected by the loss of Miss Christine. I am a full time employee at Geauga Humane Society, and I know the entire staff would echo that statement. The news came to us as a huge surprise. We have witnessed first-hand her tremendous amount of generosity, care, and patience. She always came in with a big smile (along with her group of kids). She was always very friendly and the first to tell us all good morning. May she rest in peace. We will all miss her bright and warm presence. I had the pleasure of working with Christine this past school year. She was like me & my other co-worker's work mom. We loved hearing her stories, & she was always there to offer us guidance & support. Christine was so full of positive energy & could make anyone smile. She made a big impact on our lives & the lives of our students. We are all blessed to have known Christine & I am thankful I had that opportunity this year. All my best to Gregory, Bryan, Monica, & Ellie...she talked a lot about you guys & I know she loved you very much.

My dear friend, you will be forever in my heart. I will miss your laughter and your smile. Planning class reunions will never be the same again. Gregory and Brian, your parents raised you to be wonderful young adults. May they watch over the three of you from above, and remember all that they have taught you. Stay close to each other. You have a huge support system, do not be afraid to reach out. To the Marko family, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you. <3

Dear Gregory and Bryan,

  I am deeply saddened by the loss of your mom. She was such a wonderful and caring mother. She was also a wonderful wife to Greg. Being your neighbor, I was witness to how tightly bound your family was. Christine always had such a positive attitude. The glass was always half full. You guys have had to endure so much hardship in the last two years. You are both great adults with great futures. Don't forget that. Your mom and dad are together now. Take solace in that. I am sorry I couldn't get back into town to spend some time with you guys. I wrestled with too many commitments. I will be in town soon. We will spend some time together. Take good care of Ellie. Hang in there.

Christine, So hard to believe you have gone home.  Now you are forever with your true love.  Continue to look over your boys from above.  Gregory and Bryan, your mom talked about you always.  She loved you so very much!!  Now your angel will forever be mounted on your shoulder for comfort.  I worked with your mom through the Geauga Job Training program on ocassion. I only wish I had an opportunity to meet you too.  She will be missed.

We just wanted to let you know what a privilege and honor it was to know your mom.  We have shared so many great memories together watching you boys grow up.  From T-Ball to high school sports and now out of or in college.  We always loved your mothers laugh and her love for you two.  We will greatly miss her.  We just wanted to express to you that your mom is now with your dad and all the others she loved that have gone before her.  Please find comfort in knowing that.  Find your peace and comfort in the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is there for you now!  When you have time please read Matthew 11:28.  We love you guys!

Christine was such a super, happy person.  After years of me not working and seeing her at WestG, I just ran into her at Tanglewood Giant Eagle about a week ago. She was so excited to tell me how her kids, now young adults were doing.
She will be missed by so many.  A kind and generous lady.
