Born April 11, 1929 in Mather, Greene County, PA. Daughter of Howard Parrish and Minnie Callahan, both deceased. Long-time and dear friend of Dolores Fondran, also deceased. Known for her boundless energy, Leona loved to line dance, and taught others the steps at the nearby senior center. Leona was also renowned for her work with jigsaw puzzles, especially at the Slovene Home, where she spent her last years. Retired from Rockwell Automation. Former member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Honorary Aunt to Laura Capello, Cynthia Schubert (deceased), Jay Fondran and Greg Fondran and the extended Fondran Family. A friend to many, Leona always had a positive and grateful attitude.
