Remembering the good times and our years together at Hunters Hollow Restaurant. Gino was and will always be my favorite 🤩 Italian chef. 🍷🍽.       The tribute movie 🎥 is beautiful. 💫

ℹ am a firm believer that when we lose someone close to us, like a Father, they continue to live on through us and give us unbelievable strength. They are so connected to us that they become a part of us.       The George Backinger Family will miss him greatly. 💟✝️

Gino, you were so kind to me always.  Our hearts are saddened having you gone.  My prayers are now for your family whom will struggle without you.   God bless them.

You made my world a better place. You gave me love, advice, wisdom, and support whenever I needed it. You’re teachings will forever be in our thoughts and hearts. We will share your memory with Massimo through out the rest of his life. We lost you too soon and we mourn your loss dearly. As time must go on, I will cherish your memory and make you proud. Omg so so so many good times….so kind: so funny: so loving; one of a kind ! Karen and Frank and Tom and myself not only have sweet memories that bring smiles but even my daughter who nick named him “little chef” has good memories on her visits to Ohio. Our hearts are filled with a sadness but our memories of special times bring smiles❤️

So sadden to hear about Gino. I did not know him very well, but my sister, Sandra, did and whenever we visited our dad in Ohio, we made sure to dine at Cucina Rustica. Gino always wore a smile and welcomed all of us as if we were family. He greeted our dad, George, with hugs and we celebrated birthdays and family reunions with calamari, Virginia spots, pasta, and, of course, wine.  Gino certainly leaves his mark on the world. Peace to all his family and friends.

Gino was a customer of mine with Canal Fulton Provisions. I will always remember Gino as being kind, having a sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye. My condolences to his family.  Rest in peace Gino. Susan Baker 

It was always a pleasure to be in his company.  He was a treasured friend of so many.  His “master chef” talents will long be remembered.  Rest In Peace, dear Gino. My dear cousin Gino will now be forever in Paradise.  Surely, a choir of angels, his parents, Marco, Zio Joe and Zia Caterina (my mom) welcomed him in Heaven.  May Gino now rest comfortably in God's loving arms.  He will be forever in my heart.
