Mary Leta Obituary (nee Carozza), age 92, born 05/23/1932, passed away 07/18/2024. Maria Vincenza Carozza resided in Little Italy, Cleveland and Mayfield, Ohio. Mary was known for her laugh, wit, sense of humor, and chocolate chip cookies. Known to many as "ML", she worked at the Mayfield Hts. McDonalds for 27 years. She loved children and was everyone's favorite "Auntie Mary" or "Aunt Jean". Mary was the loving mother of Salvatore "Sam" Leta (Joan), Gloria Turski (Mark) and Barbara Molter (Jeff). Cherished Grandmother of Kevin Boveington, Crystal Boveington, Samantha Losik (Luke), Anthony Leta (Olivia) and Great Grandmother of Beau Losik. Survived by her devoted sister Vonnie Tripodo (Joe, dec). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anthony "Tony" Leta, Siblings Columbus "Chris" (Marie Ann, dec) Carozza, John Carozza, Vincent (Irene, dec) Carozza. Arrangements entrusted to DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
