My dear sweetest Nick! You were like the brother/ boyfriend I never had in my life. We could sit and just talk for hours and hours about everything and anything. You have always been one of my dearest closest friends and I think about you everyday. There is not a time that doesn't go by that something doesn't remind me of you. I love you with all my heart and more then words will ever be able to say. I love you to the moon and back and one day I will see you again soon. Until then my friend you are always loved but never ever forgotten!

I like to express my sympathy in regards to the loss of Nick. My thoughts go out to Carol and the rest of her family.

The beautiful flowers are a sweet memory now, sent by friends and family to comfort us at this heartbreaking time... So appreciated... Thanks to all who shared in our grief. Our memories of Nicholas, even sweeter, each in our own special ways. His own unique laugh will especially never leave me...

...the darling little brother I always wanted when I was growing up...that was Nicholas. We were almost two decades apart in age, I got married young & started a family of my own. All this happened within 3 months!! Nick became more like my child than my brother & sadly we never had that close connection most siblings have. Did I love that little blue-eyed, blond-haired baby brother of mine...?...with all my heart I did & always will. My heart ached for him & everything he had to go through as he struggled with the illness. Regrets...I have many...& pray constantly for God's love to wash him clean of life's troubles & give him that special room he has kept especially for him where he can play those drums as loud & as long as he wants !! " I love you...my one & only little brother. God speed, my dear".

I will miss you Nick. We just started hanging out again after many years. We had a good time the 2 times I came to visit you before your journey to heaven. You will always be in my heart thoughts & prayers.  I'll Remember You (Skid Row).

Nick was truly a gentle soul, we used to go up to the local donut shops and talk about music deep into the night. As most of Nick's friends know, Kiss was his favorite band but he had a vast knowledge of music that encompassed many genres. One of my favorite memories of Nick was this time he told me he was going to bring his guitar up to the donut shop, I said "there's no audience up here, who in the world are you gonna play for?" He replied, "I'll come up there and serenade you." I thought he was kidding around but sure enough, about twenty minutes later, there he was with that guitar and you know what? He played and I had the benefit of hearing what was like my own private concert.

I was shocked to hear about Nick's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Shirley and Carol, and the rest of the family at this very sad time. Love Lisa

I'm so sorry to hear that Nick has left us. I graduated with Nick and remember him to always be smiling and laughing about one thing or another. I know he was very special in the lives of my friends Paul, Glen, and Melody. Prayers and peace to all of Nick's family and friends.

I was saddened to hear that Nick has passed away. For several years, he was a next-door neighbor and very good friend to my son, Paul Kelly, Jr., who passed away 5/10/13. Paul always spoke highly of Nick and told me how much he enjoyed Nick's company.
To Nick's family: Nick is released from pain and is now healthy and happy, at home with God and is, of course, once again enjoying Paul's friendship. You might like to find a copy of a song by Maggie Siff and the Sons of Anarchy. It's called "In the Arms of the Angels," also  as "Lullabye for a Soldier." It can be found on iTunes, and is very comforting. Life goes on and I hope it gets better for you, one day at a time.

Nick was a very good friend to my brother, Paul, who passed away on May 10, 2013.  I know that Paul would want us to let you know how deeply saddened we are for your loss.  Paul is up there in heaven and has welcomed Nick into God's loving Kingdom with open arms.  I can picture them hanging out together up there.
