Peter Michael DeSimone

PETER MICHAEL DeSIMONE of Bradenton, FL , passed away Peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2021. He is survived by Pete DeSimone Jr. (Cathy), Karen DeSimone (Rick), grandchildren Amrah DeSimone, Ryan Shaughnessy, Conner LaMontagne, Lindsay Hinch, Ryan Hinch, brother Dick DeSimone (Martha). Ray DeSimone (deceased). Peter is the Son of Frank & Ann DeSimone born in Avonmore, Pennsylvania on December 12, 1932. Peter met the love of his life Helen Faye and moved to Cleveland where he started his family. He began his career up in the sky as a crane operator building beautiful buildings in downtown Cleveland. Go Browns… If you knew Peter you knew, he was a hard worker, and was proud of what he did. Peter was a faithful member at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Medina with a heart of gold always giving and donating. He and his family enjoyed going to Siesta Key in the summertime a tradition he kept doing for years. Whoever came to visit him would be invited to walk with him on the beach which turned out to be 5 miles…Surprise. In the winter months he loved hunting and fishing with his buddies. A very proud man of his accomplishments in life and he showed it with his constant work on his home and for the love of his children and grandchildren. His sweetness and contagious laugh will forever be in our hearts. Mass of Christian Burial is at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 27, 2021, 3100 Old Weymouth Road, Medina OH 44256 (Please Meet at Church). Interment Hope Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, family requests contributions in memory of Pete, be made to the Alzheimer’s Association-Florida Gulf Coast Chapter or Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.
