I will forever remember Aunt Shirley as a kind and fun Aunt. There were many good times when the Milton Fox Milwaukee Family lived very close to the Kenneth Fox Milwaukee Family. We could ride our bikes to the houses. We had family picnics and gatherings.  We also made visits to Richmond and Mayfield Hts, when the Kenneth Fox family lived there. 
Thanks Aunt Shirley for being an Aunt who was fun to be with and who cared about all her nieces and nephews.
I always enjoyed the phone calls the last many years.   There are many Fox Family members in Heaven waiting to welcome you to your Heavenly Home. Rest in Peace.

I would like to pay my respects and offer my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers in light of the passing of my grandmother, Shirley Fox. I am keeping my mother and my aunts and uncles on the Fox side of the family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I have many memories of Grandma Shirley, but I am taking solace in two particular traits that I always admired about my grandmother: Education and her love animals.

The biggest memory I will always cherish about my grandmother is her advocacy for the importance of eduction. Teaching is a bit of a family business on my Grandmother’s side; her own father Clyde taught high school as well. As a high school teacher myself, I will always be honored to follow in the footsteps of my family and I know that Shirley advocated for the importance of a good education.

Finally, I share a love of animals with my grandmother. She loved dogs and had no problem having a pile of dogs snuggle up next to her at night. Her soft spot for animals gave people a glimpse of the good heart that she possessed.  

In lieu of flowers, I am going to donate to an organization that helps dogs, to help honor memory.

Fox Family, please rest assured of my thoughts and prayers. Even though I am unable to attend in person, I will be with you during this time in solidarity of spirit. Rest assured of my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you to those who have posted pictures.  It brought many smiles to my face. That big smile and caring personality. Are reflected here. 

To my cousins and families, I pray you find comfort in your time you had with Aunt Shirley and the beautiful memories you created.  I pray for peace and comfort for all of you as she is also now at peace.  Thoughts and prayers from your cousin Marti (Martha)

Grandma always had a smile on her face and was one of the most giving humans I know. So many of my childhood memories are centered around being at grandmas house and playing in her backyard. I am so fortunate to have had her in my life for 34 years and that she’s now in peace with her husband and daughter. The necklaces she gifted me as a kid will now be heirlooms.  We’ll miss you, grandma.  

Shirley was my God mother. I think in my 54 years, I only saw her twice. I do not remember her. That is sad.  Just my father Ed and his brother Ken who is the husband  to Shirley, were not close.  The families rarely if ever got together. 

Regardless, Shirley will be in my thoughts and prayers this Sunday. 

May she  find the love of the Lord in heaven.

Rest in Peace  to a blessed woman and the matriarch of the Fox family. Wife of Kenneth preceded in life by daughter Janet survived by daughter Catherine, son Kenneth, daughter Margaret, and son Richard. Mrs. Shirley Fox had 7 grandchildren (James, Michael, Stephen, Andrew, Mary, Kimberly, and Timothy) and 8 great-grandchildren (Abigail, Alice, Maya, Blair, Thomas, Elliot, Brynn, and Carson) 
We love you Grandma!
