

A loving partner, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother she was a force of nature and the heart of our family. And will be dearly missed.
A dedicated professional in the field of Education, Carole spent 40 plus years with the Dade County Public School System serving as classroom teacher, club sponsor, administrator, and grant writer. During her tenure she affected the lives of both students and peers. Making a lasting impression. Many, still in contact with her through phone calls,visits, and FaceBook. Several of her former students/family members following in her footsteps and entering the field of education.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Carole was known for her caring personality, intensity, and vigor. She had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. With kindness and compassion she touched the lives of many, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by life partner Ron Gustafson, son, Barry(Darcy) Abrams, granddaughter, Brandie Patel, and great grandson, Camron Patel.
Carole’s memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, former students/colleagues. Her legacy will endure and her spirit will continue to inspire us. In our hearts, she will live on forever.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 29th, 10:00a.m. at Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home
