GREENE, CHARLES KAYE, nonagenarian avid dancer and bridge player and long-time resident of Miami Beach and Lauderhill, Florida, died Monday, October 24, 2011. He was born on January 31, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York. He was predeceased by his wife, Adelaide, and daughter, Cathy. He is survived by his long-time companion, Ada Amster, his daughter, Cynthia L. Greene of Miami, Florida, his son, William (Cari) Greene of League City, Texas, and grandchildren Jonathan Louis (Karen) Greene and Sharon Kaye (Justin Cohen) Greene. "Charlie" led an enviable life and was adored by his family and all who knew him. He faced hardship with dignity and unflagging wit.
