

Edith F. Lieberman, 90+, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2010. Born December 14, 1919 in NY, NY to the late John and Frieda Freeman. Predeceased by Alvin, beloved husband of more than 54 years, . Edith always loved and was especially devoted to her family. Loving mother to Ronald ( Bunny) Lieberman and Barbara (Kenneth) Bloom; devoted sister of Elaine Levine (late Joe); cherished grandmother of Jill (Greg) Paiewonsky, Brian (Carrie) Lieberman, Allison (Gabriel) Rutman and Susan Bloom; adored great grandmother of Warren ,Briana, Karic, Tyler, Piper Rose, Aidan & Caroline, caring aunt to nephew Michael (Barbara) Levine; grand nieces, Ilyssa and Jessica, and grand nephew, Scott. An original resident of The Palace Suites for 11 years, Edith played the piano every morning at breakfast for the pleasure of the residents. A Juilliard graduate, concert pianist, school music teacher and piano teacher, lover of The Arts and music, avid reader, active longtime book club member. Edith was very generous and donated to many charities. Having been a lifetime and active member of National Council of Jewish Women, Technion & Hadassah. Contributions can be made to honor her memory to any of these organizations. The Family thanks all who knew and loved her, especially long time devoted aide, Maria Teresa. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel at Mt Nebo Kendall, 5900 SW 77 Ave, Miami, FL 305-274-0641.
