

Gloria J. Tritt, born in 1937 to William and Annette Savinsky in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away early in the morning on Friday, October 6, 2023, in Aventura, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin S. Tritt of Miami Beach. She helped him run their Marina, Watson Island Fuel and Fishing Supplies, on Watson Island, Florida for many years.
Gloria was a loving and devoted mother to her three sons, the late Barry N. Tritt (Spouse the late Debra Tritt), Jay L. Tritt, and Evan E. Tritt and granddaughter Julie A. Tritt. She was involved in all her children’s social activities, taking them to scouting events, trips to comic book shops and more. She was a wonderful piano player, painter and cook. She was known in particular for her delicious brisket and renowned chicken soup, prepared with love and tradition.
Her granddaughter, Julie A. Tritt was a source of great joy in her life and she and Martin would take care of her after school on many afternoons. She was very fond of Julie's cats and would talk about them frequently.
Gloria is survived by her sister-in-law, Ilene Savin, (Spouse of the late Allen G. Savin) of Cleveland, Ohio, her nephew, Randy Savin (Spouse Jill) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and her niece, Susan Nathan ( Spouse Paul) of Solon, Ohio.
A graveside service to celebrate Gloria's life will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Nebo Miami Memorial Gardens, 5505 NW 3rd St, Miami, FL 33126 in accordance with Jewish tradition.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Gloria's memory to Wonder Paws Rescue of South Florida or American Brain Foundation.
