Gil: I came across the sad news about Helen. You, Helen, Skip, Larry and Elizabeth always have had a special place in my heart from your kindness while I was in undergraduate school and worked at K-Land. You were a role model that I tried to follow throughout my adult life. Our sincerest condolences to you and the entire family.

All of my memories of Mrs.Bardfeld brings me back to my K-land days...She had such a positive influence on so many people there. She use to give me extra syrup in my rootbeer snow-cones and would always have a smile on her face...and even when 30+ kids would invade her house she never batted an eye and always had sandwiches and drinks for everyone of us(perfectly made with the..crust cut off) ...I will always have a place in my heart for Mrs.Bardfeld and my memories of her will always be with me ...My God bless her family and all of us who loved her...

We the class of 1953, Miami Senior High School wish to express our condolences to the entire family of Helen.  We are thankful to Sondra Fleishman Rosenfield for letting us know of her passing.  We also know that Helen is now in the heaven and we all will see each other again. May GOD help you in  your healing in this very sad  time..

Wonderful lady and a wonderful family. Mrs. Bardfeld always treated the kids at K-Land like her own.  Truly a great loss, but now she is with Skip.
