Janet had a lifetime career in the arts, musical and entertainment field. She was the first artist to exhibit and have a one woman show at the Air Force Space Museum in Cape Kennedy, Florida.
Janet had a long time career as journalist and broadcaster in South Florida. She wrote for several popular entertainment news magazines. She was the entertainment editor at 610 WIOD, a Miami radio station for 21 years where she interviewed top celebrities and national politicians.
She is survived by her loving son Michael (Michele) Cowan; cherished grandchildren Brooke (Jeremy) Nobil and Melodi Cowan; adore great grand-daughters Sydney and Skylar Nobil.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of your choosing.
