Darling mother and grandmother Marjorie Ann Grumet Cohen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 26, 2013. Margie was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on January 15, 1928 to Rose and Sam Grumet. She moved to Steubenville, Ohio where she graduated high school and met her future husband Marvin Cohen (Deceased). They married December 25, 1946 and in 1955 they moved to Miami, Florida where they raised their three children. Some of her greatest delights were mah jongg, family holiday dinners and gatherings and sharing stories with her grandchildren. She was always our first opinion for all things medical, and almost never missed a diagnosis. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin, and grandson, Jarrett Kutner, and is survived by her children Alan (Ricka) Cohen, Sharan (Glenn) Kutner and Janice (Michael) Landau, her grandchildren Tracie Kutner-Merwitzer, Jennifer Cohen, Jill Cohen Hanken, Zachary Kutner, Jessica Landau and her eight great grandchildren. Thank you Mom & Grandma for always showing us "the right way."
Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday 9/29 at Mt. Nebo Memorial Gardens 5900 SW 77th Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margie's memory may be made to your favorite charity.
