Marsha A Nevel, born on May 22, 1936, passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Our beloved mother, Marsha A. Nevel, passed away after a short illness on February 18th, 2026, at the age of 89.
Mom was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and moved to Miami when she was 10 years old. She grew up in humble beginnings and learned at an early age to treasure anything that she was blessed with. Especially her family and friends.
She graduated from Miami High School and started college at the University of Miami when she met her loving husband Sam. They were married in March 1955 and remained married 63 years until Sam passed away in June 2018.
She was a wonderful homemaker, wife to Sam, mom to Sharyn (and husband Richard), Mike (and wife Susan), and grandmother to Ellen, Brenda, Robert, and Andrew, and friend to just about anyone who had the good fortune to meet her.
No matter what she was doing she always made sure she was available to help out when needed whether it was babysitting grandkids, running to the store or to baseball practice. Her love and encouragement were her most cherished traits and will be remembered forever.
