Phyllis Rose passed away peacefully at her home in Boca Raton, Florida, on January 13, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 102 years young.
Born on July 30, 1923, in Brookline, Massachusetts, Phyllis was the beloved daughter of Jacob Myron and Miriam Rosen. She was the devoted wife of the late Elliot “Murph” Rose and the cherished sister of the late Marvin Rosen.
Phyllis is survived by her loving brother Ken Rosen and sister-in-law Ellen Rosen; her devoted children, Rick Rose, Leslie and John Weiss, and Don and Lisa Rose; and her adored grandchildren: Kimberly Dickenson, Scott and Dawn Rose, John and Kari Rose, Charles and Vanessa Rose, Channon Rose, Matthew Simmons, Evan and Katie Weiss, and Ali and Jack Rose.
She was the proud great-grandmother of Mattie, Jake, and Zac Rose; Reese, Sena, and Aren Rose; Everett Rose; Hayden Simmons; Jack and Ali Rose; and Austin and Kara Dickenson. She was also blessed to be a great-great-grandmother to Murphy Dickenson.
Phyllis had the rare and beautiful gift of making everyone feel like they were her favorite. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched all who knew her. She lived a meaningful and beautiful life, and her legacy will be cherished and celebrated by her family and friends forever.
A funeral service will be held at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo (Kendall), located at 5900 SW 77th Ave, Miami, FL 33143, United States. The service is scheduled for January 15, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
