Richard Anselm Steinheimer

RICHARD A., Miami resident since 1950, formerly of Macon and Brooks, GA, passed away

gently on April 28, 2012 at the age of 99. Predeceased in 2000 by beloved wife Elaine nee Stoloff ;

He was a creative and talented man enjoying many activities, such as gardening, woodworking,

fishing and photography: active member of GE Elfun Society, Berry X Club. He served as a proud Army

veteran of WWII; loving father of Linda Steinheimer Berg (Martin D.) and Joan Steinheimer

Herskovits (David); cherished grandfather of Jill Herskovits Bernstein (Michael); uncle to

many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grand-

nephews; predeceased bysiblings, Al Stanton, Elizabeth Brooks, Rhett Steinheimer, Janet

Jessup and Ruth Lockhart;lovingly cared for by his aides, Simone Duplessy, Sandra Budier

and Marie Furjuste; He will begreatly missed by his family and friends. Those wishing to make

donations in his memory can to Whitewater Baptist Church, 632 Hwy. 85 Connector, Brooks, GA

30205, Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250 or to a

charity of choice. Viewing at 12 noon, followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 PM on

Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel/Kendall, 5900 SW 77 Ave.,

Miami, FL 33143. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park South, Miami, FL.
