Sandra was born on September 3, 1938, in Toronto, Canada, to Rebecca Siegel and Leo Siegel. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She cherished her family and wished them love and peace until her final breath. A fighter to the very end, she is now free from pain, and her soul will soar.
Sandra was known for her humor, huge loving heart, sophistication, and class. She was blessed to be married to the love of her life for 65 years, and she is now reunited with him for eternity. Sandra loved golf and, in her younger married years, enjoyed hosting dinner parties. More than anything, she loved being with her family.
Sandra is survived by her daughter and granddaughter, Jodi and Jadyn; her son, Michael (daughter-in-law Lisa); her grandchildren, Laina (and husband Ehren), Max, and Emily; and her brother, Stephen Siegel.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Puder; their daughter, Cindy Puder; and her sister, Diane Krondstadt.
The family wishes to thank Sandra’s nieces and nephews, especially Linda Kuhne, who drove 10 hours to be with Mom in her final week; her brother, Stephen Siegel; and everyone who loved Sandra and played a very special part in her life. Special thanks also to Caren Glassman, a close family friend to Jodi and Sandra; to Josie Bracho, Sandra’s caregiver, who cared for and loved her like her own during Sandra’s final year; and to the hospice team, with special thanks to Chaplain Ruben Joseph and social worker Laura Moreno, and to Chabad of Golden Beach.
Sandra will be deeply missed by all those who loved her, and her memory lives on.
