A very special human being, Sylvia was born in New York 100 years ago! Spent her childhood there then enlisted in the Women’s Army Corps. Subsequently married and moved to Miami Florida in 1950. Sylvia loved and worshiped the sun! Becoming a single mother, she excelled in raising her three daughters all on her own. She loved us fiercely and was such a big part of all of our identities.
Years later, when her daughters were teenagers-her life turned around with her marriage to a wonderful and kind man, Charles Cox.
Our dear Mommy & Gramma will be immensely missed. She is survived by her three daughters; Pamela Rose Epstein, Babs Rosenkranz and Lisa Johnson, Son in law; Dr Neil Rosenkranz. Grandchildren: Craig Rosenkranz (Dana), Alexis Epstein Farinas (Joshua), Jill Rosenkranz Grosnoff (Alex), Andrew (Andy) Rosenkranz (Samantha), and Alina Edwards and dearly departed Jay Matthew Epstein. Great grandchildren; Austin Farinas, Evan Rosenkranz, Eleanor (Ellie) Grosnoff, Ethan Rosenkranz, Jordyn Farinas and Sophie Rosenkranz. As well as her sister Irene who is turning 99 years old in July.
Till the end, Sylvia was very much aware and always so happy to see her beloved family.
We all loved you so very much!
