William (Bill) Borkan passed away on September 17th, 2013. A Miami Native, Bill had a zest for life that he shared with family and friends. He was a prolific inventor whose medical devices have helped tens of thousands of people around the world to live a pain-free life. Bill was also a highly successful entrepreneur in other fields including real estate and has dedicated himself to multiple philanthropic endeavors.
He was most proud, however, of his family. He was a loving husband to the love of his life, his wife of over 33 years, Vivienne. He was also a wonderful father to their children, Kenny and Marty, and a beloved brother to his siblings Ted, Burt and Jennie.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 23 at noon at Riverside-Gordon Aventura, 20599 Biscayne Boulevard, 33180, with interment to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172.
