Carolyn Patricia (Patsy) Miller, passed away unexpectedly April 14, 2023, at her residence in Middleburg, Florida. She was 76 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Patsy was born October 15, 1946, to Elsie (Vinson) and Howard Neal Hammett. Patsy was one of ten siblings.
Patsy graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1964 and married the love of her life
William Erle (Billy) Miller on February 12, 1966, and together had four children. Patsy and Billy were happily married for 52 years until Billy's death in 2018.
Patsy is survived by her children- Billy (Beverly) Miller of Raleigh, NC; Krissy Robinson of Middleburg, FL; Randy (Heidi) of Middleburg, FL and Greg (Doria) Miller of Middleburg, FL. Her nine grandchildren-Stephanie Miller, Cody (Lauren) Robinson, Nicholas (Samantha) Miller, Emily (Rob) Evans, Cyle (Erin) Miller, Amanda Robinson, Dominick Miller, Savannah Miller and Ashley Miller. Six great grandchildren-Aria Miller, Layla Robinson, Lennox Miller, Maeve Miller, Addelyn Robinson and Bentley Robinson. By her siblings- James (Pender) Hammett, Ronnie Hammett, Darrell Hammett, Bobby (Debbie) Hammett, Sue Wills and Gail Touchton. And numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings- Kathryn Haskins, Jerry Hammett and Ann Warner.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren more than anything. She was always their biggest cheerleader. She looked forward to hosting the holidays with her family, with Christmas being her favorite holiday of all. She loved to decorate for Christmas and buy presents for everyone. She was a very caring, loving and selfless person; who would always do for others rather than do for herself. She loved watching sports, and she liked playing softball in her younger days. She also liked to travel with her husband and children. Patsy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to come pay their respects to the family on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Miller home, 4064 Mustang Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 12:00pm (Noon) in Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL; 32068. 904-282-9336.
