Charles L. McVey

Heaven gained an amazing god fearing man 4/28/2022. Charles Leonard McVey was born in Abingdon VA July 2, 1939. Married Janet P. McVey August 30,1958. He has been reunited with his beloved wife Janet and son Phil.

Charles was a proud Army Veteran and enjoyed more than 40 years of over the road trucking with 10 of those years spent side by side with his cherished wife.

He is survived by his daughter Denise, her husband Tony and daughter-in-law Rhonda. He was a loving husband, father, grand-father, great grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He never met a stranger. All who knew him would describe him as a social butterfly. He would give anyone the last dollar in his wallet or the shirt off his back. All our family holidays and gatherings were celebrated by his remarkable story telling and our homes were always filled with laughter and prayer.

A visitation for Charles will be held 11 -1 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL.
