Charlie Padgett, age 82, passed away October 25, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of Middleburg, Florida. Charlie was a member of Black Pond Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Mildred Padgett, 2 sons, Roger W. Padgett, Sr. (Patty) and Travis R. Padgett (Jan), 2 daughters, Velva J. Chapman (Dennis) and Tina C. Jolley, brother, J.C. Padgett, sister, Bernice Nester (Dewey), 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held in Padgett Cemetery, Middleburg, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charlie Hunt officiating.
