Clarence Elmer Noble, 84, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family. Clarence was a man of quiet strength, loyal heart, and unmatched dedication, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Born to George C. Noble and Sallie B. Noble,Clarence’s journey through life was one marked by hard work, deep devotion, and the kind of love that never wavered. Before beginning his long and distinguished career, Clarence proudly served in the United States Army, a time in his life that instilled the values of honor, responsibility, and service that he carried with him always.
For over 30 years, Clarence worked for Anheuser-Busch, and retired as the Assistant Maintenance Superintendent. His tireless work ethic and problem-solving skills earned him the respect of colleagues and the admiration of all who witnessed his dedication firsthand. But even after retirement, Clarence never truly slowed down—he remained the family’s go-to “fix-it man,” a jack of some trades who could repair just about anything and was always just a phone call away when someone needed help.
Clarence was married to the love of his life, Vernon Noble, for 41 beautiful years. Their bond was one of true partnership, filled with laughter, loyalty, and the kind of love that only deepens with time. Together, they built a life grounded in faith, family, and unforgettable memories.
Clarence found his greatest joy in being "Papa" to his grandchildren. Whether he was fishing, tinkering around the house on his beloved Kubota tractor, or strolling through the aisles of Home Depot—his favorite pastime—Clarence was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He was a family man through and through, the heart of every gathering, and the one everyone relied on. He adored animals, found peace in the outdoors, and always had a story, a tool, or a helping hand ready to share.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Sallie Noble, brothers: Malcom Noble, Harry Noble, Larry Noble and Johnny Noble; and sister Elane Noble-Reynolds.
Clarence is survived by his devoted wife, Vernon Noble; his children: Veronica Noble, Daniel Noble (Shantel), Kimberly Hester-Farner, and Susan Hester; his cherished grandchildren: Christopher Noble, Shannon Smith (Charlie), John Tremell (Kayla), Victoria Hester-Madray, Aubrey Farner, and Trevor Hester (Kaylee); beloved great-grandchildren: Christian Smith, Jaxson Tremell, and Audrey Tremell; brother Teddy Cox and sister Eilene Noble-Edwards.
Clarence's warmth, wit, and wisdom will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Though he may no longer be with us in body, the echo of his laughter, the strength of his legacy, and the love he gave so freely will remain with us always.
Rest in peace, Papa. You were our rock, our guide, and our hero. We’ll carry your memory with us in every sunrise, every trip to Home Depot, every cast of a fishing line—and in every act of love.
