I'm not sure where to begin.  My heart is heavy with sorrow.  I thought I would grow old and Corey would be there to poke fun at me or make a wisecrack as he always did.  Either way, he would always lean in for a hug, while giggling through it all.  I will certainly cherish ALL the times and memories we experienced from his childhood into adulthood.   I can only hope I afforded him the same.  Corey's smile was infectious, which I will miss most of all.   As a nephew, I was proud to have called Corey my family.  I can only hope Corey is at peace now.  Perhaps one day we will laugh together again.

I hate that this has happened and I am truly heartbroken over this! I will always cherish the memories and good times we had in my heart! At one point in our life we were inseparable! You gave me with the most precious gift (Aubree) and I’m so thankful for that!  I PROMISE you I will take care of Aubree and give her the best life I could possibly give her! You and our memories will forever be in my thoughts! Please give your mom the tightest hug for me and tell her we love and miss her! Please watch over your girls! This is not a goodbye; it’s until we meet again <3

I was blessed the day you and my daughter Kayla Smith, gave birth to Paislee Faye Stephens. She will always carry your piercing  blue eyes, sassy smile and  most of all, your  good hearted spirit. Every time I look at her, I see you! You have left behind a legacy as you touched many hearts and souls along your path to heaven.  Thank you for the many memories, tears and laughs during the last 9yrs. Our family will never forget you and promise to always keep you alive in our hearts and souls as your daughter prospers  in life. Forever grateful to you and your mother Nana Kim while you both Rest In Peace as you shine down upon us all that love you:(....,See you in heaven  CoCo!

I am so lost for words. I don't know where to begin knowing this is goodbye. I want to thank you for all the love you shared with me these past three years.  I will always remember your sweet loving smile, you were always so sweet to me and  you will always have a special place in my heart. I will always remember the fun times we all spent together with your two beautiful daughters, Aubree and  Pasilee. It grieves my heart to know your little girls will grow up without their daddy. I don't know where to start, I am at a lost for words, You were such a happy go lucky kid,  could care less if the sun came up the next morning. This past Saturday the sun rose and you didn't, you had become a angel . We were left behind to wonder why, you have struggled sense you lost your mom. Your struggle is over, ours has just began. You are with your mom now and at peace. I will watch over your girls for you.  It has been a  privilege to have you call me dad. So proud to have shared the past twenty seven years with you. I will truly miss your laugh and smile, you always laughed even if it wasn't funny. I will always cherish the memories that we made over the years.  Son, I love you and I am going to miss you. I will see you again someday until then remember long hair don't care.

Our hearts are broken.   You were more to us than a nephew.  We hold close to our hearts the recent adventures we shared with you.  I only wish we still had more fun adventures to look forward to.  You were always the funniest and happiest person to spend time with.  Always ready with one of your big hugs, and a smile on your face.  We'll always cherish all the fun we had together.  You will be greatly missed, and you will always have a special place in our hearts.

Corey is survived by his 2 Daughters, Aubree Kae Stephens and Paislee Faye Stephens; Father, Morris A Stephens; 2 Brothers, Brian Stephens and Alan Stephens. He is predeceased by his Mother, Kimberly Stephens.
