Dannie Lee Averitt, 69, passed away November 15, 2018. He was born December 19, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ruth Ann Averitt; Tara (Douglas) Correia, and grandchildren Ashton and Lauren Correia, two sisters Marion (James) Townsend, of Branford, FL, Rosa Maffey, of Marietta, GA and several loving nieces and a nephew. He is predeceased by his daughter, Nicole, and his parents, Dannie B Averitt and Alice Elizabeth Collins. There are many family memories as a result of his wonderful sense of humor and love of family. The greatest work in his life was his video productions for Hibernia Baptist Church and Bert Shivers Bible Study Class. He prepared and published these ministries on You Tube and Facebook for those who were unable to attend and those serving as missionaries in foreign countries. It was very painful for him when he was no longer able to provide these works. A memorial service will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Hibernia Baptist Church, 7100 US-17, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
