Edith H. Moore, 80, passed away February 26, 2017. She was born May 3, 1936 in Lake City, Florida and resided in Orange Park. Edith was an avid golfer with The Ladies at Cattail Creek and Bent Creek. She won 1st place in numerous golfing events. Edith was also the Lady Elk of Green Cove Springs Elk Lodge. She retired in 1984 with 30 years of service at Southern Bell. Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Frederick H. Moore Jr.; and is survived by her son, Conrad Stewart; daughter, Susan Bader; step sons: Steve Moore (Allison) and Rick Moore (Ula); sister, Esther Holland; 7 grandchildren: Justin Stewart (Kayla), Lindsey Knox (Chris), Austin Bader (Shawna), Ethan Bader, Bradley Moore (Danielle), Melanie Moore (Josh) and Melissa Moore (Juan); and 4 great grandchildren: Jesslyn and Jada Stewart, Dylan and Wyatt Moore. A visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday and funeral service is 1 PM Friday March 3, 2017 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road Middleburg, Florida 32068.
