Elias Rodriguez Quinones

Born on March 13, 1943, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Elias was a man whose life was a true testament to love, service, and unwavering devotion to his family. With a humble heart and strong hands, he dedicated many years of his life to the construction industry—building not just structures, but also a legacy of hard work, integrity, and care for those around him.

Elias was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Nelly Casasnovas, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they raised a beautiful family and created a home full of laughter, warmth, and unconditional support.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Robert Rodriguez (Wanda Rivera), Pedro Rodriguez (Jessica Rivera), Danny Rodriguez, Exsavier Rodriguez, and Gretchen Rodriguez (Marco Arias); his grandchildren: Emanuel Collazo, Antonella Arias, Jeslianys Rodriguez, Pedro J. Rodriguez, Mirle Rodriguez, and Ivo Emanol Rodriguez; and his siblings: Pedro J. Rodriguez, Luis A. Rodriguez, Ada A. Rodriguez, and Judith Rodriguez.

Elias was preceded in death by his parents, Juan B. Rodriguez and Antonia Quinones; his brothers, Juan B. Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, and Eddie Rodriguez; and his sisters, Rosa E. Rodriguez, Luisa A. Rodriguez, and Sarah Rodriguez.

Those who knew Elias will remember his boundless generosity and servant’s heart. Whether helping a neighbor, lending a hand to a friend, or offering a warm smile to a stranger, he lived his life in service to others—quietly and without expectation. He taught by example, leading with humility, kindness, and love.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that Elias’s spirit lives on in the lives he touched. His memory will forever be a blessing, a reminder of what it means to live a life rooted in faith, family, and selfless love.
