George Mason Bloomer Jr.

George Mason Bloomer Jr., age 86, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. He was born in Long Beach, California to the late, George and Claire Bloomer. He retired from the US Navy after 30 years of dedicated service to his country. George owned his tax business for 40 years and retired 4 years ago.

George was predeceased by his loving wife, Catherine and is survived by his children: Terri (Frank), Chip and Diane; grandchildren: Jessica, Sean (Jill), Cathy (Joe), Travis, Cynthia (David), Carin and Alyssa; great grandchildren: Collin, Haley, Mariah, Steve, Olivia, Niya, Cole, Liam, Raymond, Izzy, Lyllith, Raleigh, Wyatt, Millie and Aaliyah; and a host of extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 with funeral services 11 AM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park with full military honors.
