James D. ‘Jim” Goodwin of Winfield, AL and longtime Clay County resident, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013. He was a Retired Navy Veteran of 20 years, serving in the Korean and Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Tomasene Guin Goodwin; sister, Lea Acton; three daughters: Sandy (Jim), Betty (Russ) and Linda (Leonard); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and his beloved dogs: Shakita, Junior and Frito.
