Jeffery “Drew” Taylor of Middleburg, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on December 22, 2024. He was born in Starke, Fl to the late Marilyn Faye Taylor (O'Neil) and Charles Randolph Taylor Sr. Drew was raised on the family farm that dates back to the early 1900s in Middleburg. He enjoyed being on the water; skiing, boating, and relaxing with family and friends. Drew was the patriarch of the family and instilled his love for the Lord in them. Drew and his wife, Lynnette, of 29 years taught their children to be humble, loving and hard workers. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, friend, and coworker. Drew retired from Clay Electric after 31 years of dedicated service to his community as a Senior Grounding Technician. Drew had an unforgettable laugh, a contagious smile, and never met a stranger. Some people would say that he loved to talk. Drew had the talent, passion, and skill to work on engines and classic Fords in his garage while playing his music loud enough that his neighbors could hear. Drew would also occasionally blow his tug boat horn that could be heard for miles. Drew is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Rhylee Weaver. He is survived by his wife Lynnette, children; Brandy McMillan (Chris), Brittany Weaver (Steven) and Winston Taylor (Shelby); grandchildren Ethan McMillan, Rylee McMillan, Trinity Weaver, Garrett McMillan, Hazel Weaver, Charlotte Taylor, Emma McMillan, and Evelyn Taylor; brothers Scotty Taylor (Paula) and Robby Taylor (Renee) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
