Judy Ann Gonzales

Judy Gonzales, born June 19, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to Tommy Mikesell and Rosemary Storck, went to her eternal home surrounded by her loving family on July 4, 2023 in Middleburg, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father Tommy Mikesell, daughter Tina, her Father and Mother-In-Law AZ and Frances Gonzales and Sister-in-Law Frances Gonzales.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 40 years, Roger Gonzales. Her children, Bobby Cole (Lisa) and Melanie Helfenstine (Brad). Her Bonus Daughters, Jennifer Gonzales (Ashley) and Crystal Johnson (Charlie aka George). Judy and Rogers children gave them 11 wonderful grandchildren: Victoria (Tim Sr.), Seth, Braylen, Travis, Brooklyn, Jade, Brenna, Becca, Alex, Olivia and Cooper.

Judy is also survived by her Mother, Mickey Stork, 9 great-grandchildren, her siblings and her husband's siblings. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

For 30 years Judy worked for the United States Postal Service and held various positions in the American Postal Worker Union. After retiring from the Post Office, Judy devoted her time to the service of others. Judy and her husband spent their time volunteering at The Spring Church and Green Cove Food Pantry. When not volunteering Judy enjoyed working outdoors in her yard and traveling the world with her husband visiting friends and family’s across the ocean and across the country.

Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at The Springs Church, 900 Park Avenue, Orange Park, FL.
