Tell City, Indiana on September 18, 1951, to Kenneth Lee and Geneve “Jill” Kahle. He
was married on October 3, 1970, to Sandra Eileen Carroll.
Wayne was predeceased by both parents and his sister Donna Kowalenko.
He has left behind his wife of 53 years Sandra Kahle; his children: Cindy McLain, Scott (Lindsey) Kahle and Eileen (Bryan) Blackburn; his siblings: Jackie (Dwayne) Larkins, Rob Kahle and Marcia (Gary) Henderson;
his grandchildren: Jason McLain, Austin (Kimberly) McLain, Blake McLain, Briana Brake, Kailee
(Jacob) Palmer, Chad McLain, Madison Brake, Hanna Kahle, Marley Kahle, Connor Kahle, Kyler
Brake and Brady Blackburn; his great-grandchildren: Colton and Caden McLain, Rhylee, Ella and Ivey
Palmer and Lylah McLain.
Wayne was a kind and reserved family man who was honest and hardworking. He loved his
wife and to travel along by her side. Wayne and Sandy enjoyed adventures that included their
family, time spent together on the water and scuba diving, venturing to new places and Gator
sports.
