Lucy Sta. Ana Reyes, 75 years old went quietly with her Lord after a courageous battle with cardiovascular illness in the early morning of Tuesday, the 21st of March, 2023, in her own bed at her home in Middleburg, FL.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Luke Catholic Church in Middleburg, FL at 10:30am on the 31st of March, followed by interment at Holly Hill Cemetery, Old Jennings Road in Middleburg.
Lucy was born on the 18th of March, 1948 in the town of Taytay, Rizal, Republic of the Philippines where she grew up. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the National Teachers College in Manila, Philippines. She moved with her husband to the USA in Maryland in 1974 and travelled extensively while her husband was serving in the US Navy. They settled in Middleburg, FL with their 3 children; Elise, Iris & Arkim. She enjoyed crochet; making lovely centerpieces, doilies and curtains. She had a special talent in cooking and baking delicious dishes for her children. A tireless, kind and loving mother she helped raise their children who grew up to be courteous and well-mannered adults.
Lucy could always be found spreading laughter, making jokes and greeting so many of her friends at her work, church, and community with a smile!
She is survived by her adoring husband, two lovely daughters, her favorite son, and darling granddaughter.
