Martha is survived by her two sons Gene Lanier Newton Jr. and Jack Lloyd Newton; daughter Martha Denise Newton Killimade; three brothers Gene Young, Gerald Young and Ralph Young; sister Mary Minteer; grandchildren David Killimade, Wayne Killimade, Danielle Brasher, Christopher Newton, Zack Newton and James Newton. Martha also leaves behind 14 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
