Morris A. Stephens, Jr. passed on October 4th, 2023. Morris had a successful career as a truck driver and trucking business owner. He was a bar-b-que connoisseur and never met a stranger. Morris was a loyal friend and family man.
Morris is preceded in death by his father, Morris A. Stephens, Sr; the mother of his children, Kim Stephens; son, Corey Stephens; sister, Jane Turner; brothers: Spurgeon Turner, Tommy Stephens and Dwight Stevens.
Morris is survived by his loving wife, Lynnmarie King; his mother, Mary Jane Stephens; sons: Alan Stephens and Brian Stephens (Sara): four sisters: Barbara McDonald (Greg), Beverly Rowland (Byron), Karen Brickle (Leon) and Sally White (Ed); three grandchildren: Aidan, Paislee and Aubree.
Memorial services will be held at Morris and Lynn's church, 11 AM, Monday, October 16, 2023 Otis Road Church of God, 801 Otis Road, Jacksonville, FL 32220. This will be announced on Facebook.
