Paul you were one of the best brother in laws I could've ask for.... You always treated my Tommy and Tyler as i they were yours as well.  Paul was a great son, brother, husband, dad, and best of all a friend to anyone that was around. He had the natural ability to catch your ear and entertain you with his stories. Enlisting in the Army at a young age, he quickly learned that flying is what he really wanted to do. Going through any means possible he left the Army and transitioned into the Navy in order to follow his dreams. His adventures in the navy as a radio operator aboard a P-3 Orion aircraft always provided the ability to see new things and visit new places. Some of the great stories could always be heard if you had the pleasure of his company. As a great man entering into a family of one woman and two kids, his love grew endless and heartfelt. With filling the shoes of that father figure, he always placed the welfare and happiness of his family a top priority. I can remember him coaching my t-ball team so I had the ability to play, and also volunteering as a scout master so I could participate and be a part of things. Some of the greatest memories I can remember is camping out with him during scouts and just talking about things.
   I never felt that his love was missing or not genuine. Later in life I joined the military, I quickly learned how proud he was of me and over the years that never changed. During my career in the Army I had the opportunity to transition in to aviation and learn what joy it was to fly. I felt that connection reignited his passion for aviation and we would always talk about different places we visited, how things were supposed to go or how we messed something up but learned from the mistakes we made. He always played computer games online with people he never met but always impacted. Some of the games he would play included Arma, Minecraft, any type of flight simulator. He loved anything Star Trek related and I don't think he missed one episode throughout the years. I was proud to have Paul in my life and the lessons I have learned from him over the years have made me a true man, brother, husband and father myself. I have truly been blessed by the lord for the time I have had spent with him, the love I have shared with him and he will always be remembered for it.
