

Phyllis Merle Masters, 77, of Middleburg passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, surrounded by her family. Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and aunt will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her.
She will always be remembered for her generous spirit, beautiful smile, fantastic laugh, wonderful sense of humor, love of life, amazing wisdom, great stories, fantastic hugs, blueberry waffles, cakes, cookies, pies (she was an amazing cook and baker). She was simply wonderful in every way.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Masters of Middleburg. Five children: Dianne Badgley (Robert), John Anderson (Belinda), Robert Anderson (Sandy) of Fort Myers, Donna Strickland (Bill) of Tampa and Diane McGranahan (Dennis) of Garden Grove, CA. She had 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Artie Anderson; daughter, Debra Marie Patti; parents Ola Mae and William Bishop, brothers Samuel, Wilmer and Raymond Bishop and sister Bernice Cross.
Services will be held Sunday, April 17 at Holly Hill Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Viewing for the family will be from 1 to 2 p.m., friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Services will begin at 3 p.m.
Graveside ceremony will be Monday, April 18th at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 102nd Ave. in Bushnell. It is 50 miles north of Tampa off exit 309 (Webster). It's about one mile west of I-75. Services will begin at 1 p.m., but all attendees MUST be there no later than 12:30 p.m., as the cemetery is on a strict schedule.
