Richard Eugene Cooper aka "Moose" age 60, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Survived by his wife Crystal Lynn Cooper. Daughter Donnie McDonald, granddaughters Carmen Mcdonald, Emma McDonald and Kayla McDonald. Brothers Randy Cooper and Dave Cooper. Preceded in death by parents Fernand Cooper and Eleanor Lee.
Moose was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather and a fierce patriot to his country. He was gifted with the ability to mimic voices, whether human or cartoon, and also sang and sounded like Elvis... or Johnny Bravo for the younger generation. He had a unique way of describing things, like he didn't have a shoulder/ rotator cuff. No, it was a rotisserie cuff. He didn't have ADHD....he had HDADHD: High Defination Attenion Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He was also meticulous with the q-tips to keep from growing " taters" in his ears as his late Grandmother was always concerned about. He loved his wife, daughter and granddaughters fiercely as well as his best friend, Billy Jean, "BJ", Schukis and her 3 children. He was well loved by everyone; family, friends, co-workers, and even Facebook friends that he had accumulated from playing Cityville. He always said what he thought, to the embarrassment of his wife many times, and the reason he was in Facebook "jail" for a few days or a couple of months. He will be missed by everyone, and he will NEVER be forgotten.
A memorial service for Richard will be held 10 AM, Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hardage - Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hollyhillfunerals.com.
