Robert Eugene Bolden was born on November 4, 1951 at Mercy Douglas Hospital, Philadelphia, PA to Deborah Napper (Mother) and Kenneth Robert Bolden (Father). He enjoyed his childhood on the streets of Elmwood, PA. Bob attended Belmont Elementary School, Salsbury Jr. High and John F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro, NJ. He accepted Christ early in his life with his family at Calvary Baptist Church, Phila. PA. As a young man Bob enjoyed riding bikes and photography. Bobby met his wife (Theresa) and they married in Phila., PA on June 12, 1982. Robert worked as a Correction Officer for 30 years at the Curron-FromHold Correction Facility in Philadelphia, PA. He retired with the love of his life 15 years ago when his wife and him moved to Middleburg, Florida. Our Lord called him home on August 20, 2024 at 20:01 (8:01 PM EST) at Saint Vincent Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, Florida. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Robert (Bobby) leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Theresa L. Bolden (FL); his son, Michael Robert Bolden (FL); grandchildren: Mayijah, Isaiah and Kash Bolden; brother, Larry Bolden (Patricia) Willingboro, NJ; bother, George Bolden (Gail-Divorced), NC; sister, Deborah Bolden-Bradley (James-deceased) Phila., PA; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn L. Taylor (Leon-deceased) FL; sister-in-law, Marian Jones-Millwood (Roderick-divorced) VA; along with two nieces, Noel Millwood, Levittown, PA and Megan Millwood, VA; and nephew, Chris, NC. Along with the above he leaves aunts and uncles along with an abundance of other nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and great grand nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, August 30, 2024 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
