

Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida, in the early 1940s. He was a proud graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1957. Following graduation, Bob served his country honorably in the United States Air Force with the Strategic Air Command (SAC) for four years. During his time in service, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth “Bess” Hinneburg. Together they shared 60 years of marriage, building a life grounded in faith, family, and love.
Bob and Bess made their home in Middleburg, Florida, where they resided for more than 50 years. God blessed their family with a daughter, Vickie; a son, Rickey; and a grandson, John Michael. Bob is also survived by his brother, who resides in Tampa, Florida.
Bob loved life and treasured time spent with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his two beloved Weimaraners. A man of strong faith, Bob was an active and devoted member of South Middleburg Baptist Church in Middleburg, Florida, where he faithfully served and participated in church life for many years.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at South Middleburg Baptist Church, located at 4565 Alligator Boulevard, Middleburg, Florida 32068.
